Last week I had a job interview at an insurance company here in Logan. Nothing too fancy, just a little better pay and a chance to get out of the swing shift and work some regular hours full time. I would also finally be able to use my degree.
So I went to the interview, (by the way, hardest interview I've ever had), and I got a call back. He wanted me to meet the big boss. I went in and found out that I was one of their final choices, (final 2 choices). I was super excited. I thought it went well, but later that day I got a call letting me know I didn't get the job.
In the interview they asked about my future plans because they wanted someone who is going to be there for a long time. I would be willing to bet that I didn't get this job because of our plans to go to med school when Isaac graduates. So here I am working my 3 to 11pm shift, wondering if there is a full time job out there in Logan that would hire me despite my husband's future plans. 2 years is a long time for me, but I guess it's not for companies.
So now..... What to do?
I am sorry you didn't get the job :( You need to lie when it comes to a question like that lol...
ReplyDeleteLIE you do not sign a contract with the job. And in some companies 2 years is a long time commitment. Good Luck on the next interview.
